Aquatic Health: Outreach

The Environmental Services Department focuses on working with our community to ensure a safe and healthy environment. Our customer service-focused programs provide a variety of educational resources and public outreach opportunities to help keep our citizens informed, as well as engaged in our work process improvement and regulatory enhancement processes.

  • Public food service for nonprofits document.  Feeding the hungry is an important service to provide to our community.  NET Health is partnering with local nonprofits to ensure that foods offered are safe.  Foods offered should provide both nutrition and strength.  Food Safey for Public Events.pdf

  • Foodborne illness investigation improvement plan

  • NET Health is collaborating with area stakeholders to improve efficiencies in responding to and being adequately equipped to respond to foodborne related illnesses.

  • Planning underway to conduct a community environmental health assessment

  • NET Health recognizes that quality of life and healthy longevity are important to our community.  There are gaps identified in data collection of modern community health rankings.  More detail is needed from the community to determine what environmental factors are affecting our long-term health and wellbeing.  With this knowledge, NET Health and local officials will be able to develop programs and allocate resources to improve our community health.
