Intern with NET Health

At the Northeast Texas Public Health District (NET Health), we’re passionate about cultivating the next generation of public health professionals. Our internship program offers hands-on experience in a variety of departments that serve our East Texas community.

Whether you are a student fulfilling a required practicum or simply eager to gain experience in public health, NET Health provides the opportunity to work alongside professionals dedicated to improving community well-being.

Eligibility & Requirements

  • Internship placements are subject to approval by the Chief Executive Officer, Human Resources Director, and the respective Department Head.
  • Applicants must complete the official Intern Application Form and provide accurate information.
  • School-affiliated internships should include documentation of required hours or academic objectives.

How to Apply

  1. Download and complete the Intern Application Form.
  2. Please indicate the department(s) where you wish to serve along with your preferred days and hours of availability.
  3. Email your completed application to [email protected] or deliver it in person to our main offices in Tyler at 815 North Broadway Avenue.

We review applications on an ongoing basis and strive to match candidates with departments that best align with their interests and career goals.
