Retail Food Protection Program

Nationwide there are more than 3,000 retail food inspections programs. These local, state and tribal jurisdictions are responsible for the inspection and oversight of over 1 million food establishments - restaurants and grocery stores, as well as vending machines, cafeterias, and other outlets in health-care facilities, schools, and correctional facilities

NET Health and the Texas Department of State Health Services partner with the FDA to promote the application of consistent science-based food safety principles in retail and foodservice settings to minimize the incidence of foodborne illness.

NET Health utilizes the scientifically-based guidance, training, program evaluation, and technical assistance of TX DSHS and the FDA to ensure retail food safety is governed equally for the wellbeing of all consumers.

Serious Food Safety,

Joyful Dining.
